Description
Join master maker Robert Dancik, and learn how to use resins of varying types in some new and unusual ways to create rings and pendants and jewelry elements that can be used along with just about any other material including found objects!
Robert will show you how to achieve incredible depth and optical illusions using inexpensive silicone molds. These molds can be altered using wire, clothespins or tape to yield very different outcomes than the standard forms. They can also be cut up and used with other molds to make hollow resin forms.
The hardened resin pieces can be drilled, sawn, filed, inlaid, and ground to yield very unique looks. Robert will go over the various types of resins available and which are best for different applications.
*BONUS* Robert demonstrates some non-soldered setting techniques to enable you to set the finished resin pieces into wearable jewelry.
