Jason Schreiber
Jason Schreiber considers himself a food explorer, maintaining a holistic approach to food. He is passionate about issues like sustainability in food systems and responsible, ethical consumerism in the food industry. He has spent his life cooking, learning his craft first in his mother’s and grandmother’s kitchens and later at the French Culinary Institute in New York.
He began his freelance career after having worked with Ron Ben-Israel (Food Network’s "Sweet Genius") for five years, starting as an intern and working his way up to production manager. There he designed and art-directed high-profile cakes, created countless lifelike edible sugar flowers, and managed a staff of confectionary artisans. His work has been featured on the covers of Oprah Magazine, Martha Stewart Weddings, and The Knot, in the windows of Bloomingdale’s Manhattan flagship, and in the film "Sex and the City 2".
