Annette Kramer
Annette has been pursuing art in various forms nearly all her life – beginning as a musician. She has a master’s degree in classical vocal performance and worked steadily singing opera in Philadelphia after college. Later in life, after starting a family, she furthered her education at Parsons School of Design in NYC, studying color theory and graphic design. She began a new career as a digital artist with a young internet company right about the time Adobe Photoshop debuted on the scene. Before long, this corporate path had evolved into marketing and executive management.
Though she made her early career in performing and digital art, Annette has always especially enjoyed creating physical, tangible works of beauty. She discovered polymer clay as an accessible outlet for creativity while her children were very young, and she keeps returning to this medium now to explore new possibilities. Annette’s jewelry designs have been featured in Belle Armoire Jewelry magazine and Polymer Week Society magazine. She and her award-winning work can be found at many fine juried and invitational exhibitions in the U.S., as well as online at American Craft Council and her website.
