Carolyn Bond

I live in Melbourne, Australia.

I’ve always been interested in textile arts –sewing, knitting and crochet – but since discovering polymer clay over 30 years ago, I’ve been hooked!

I had an interesting career working in consumer rights organizations, but polymer clay was always my way to ‘turn off’ and relax.   Since retiring in 2023, I’ve spent more time creating and sharing my polymer clay skills.  I ran some small polymer clay workshops and in 2025 taught a 5-day class at a live-in retreat in Geelong (Australia).

Polymer clay is a unique material – offering an endless range of techniques.   I rarely use inks, paints or other materials with polymer clay, because I like to rely on the effects that can be achieved by mixing colours, making blends and designing with the  colours of the clay itself.

  • Yes! Pam’s classes are over the top! She offers so much information on how and why to do certain things, that she has already done the legwork on. Her advice is spot-on and trustworthy. Her projects are always beautiful and inspiring!

I watch her classes over and over! If it’s a Pam East class, I am there!
